Frequently Asked Questions

  • I have a variety of sources, but I make sure all of my specimens come from sustainable sources. Most of my fur is vintage and comes from thrift stores, estate sales, and occasionally, collectors downsizing their collections. The non-vintage furs are either secondhand or are being sold as scraps.

I prepare most wet specimens myself. Organs and wild animal parts are scraps from a tannery/farm in eastern Washington, and reptile specimens died of natural causes and were given to me by their breeders.

It's impossible to name every source given the variety of products I have, but I am always happy to discuss sourcing. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

  • My replicas are 3D printed using PLA filament. PLA is a plant-based plastic, which is biodegradable and compostable. The 3D models are scans of real skulls (either CT/microCT scans or photogrammetry) and generally come from museums or educational institutions. VIsit my replicas page for more information.

  • No. I used to sell online, but it lacks the soul of in-person events. With so many unique items, especially vintage goods with imperfections (or character!), I found it difficult to maintain an online shop since I had to spend so much time photographing each item, writing a description, etc. Selling in person only means I have more time to create, "scavenge" thrift stores and estate sales, and put my energy into what matters most.

  • I primarily sell at events and markets in the Seattle/Tacoma area, and occasionally in Portland, OR. Check my events page to see where I will be vending next. If you are in the Seattle area and want to buy a particular piece, you can message me on Instagram or Facebook and pick up the item in person.

  • Absolutely! If I don' t have it, chances are that I know someone who does - I have lots of friends in the oddities community and know a wide variety of talented craftspeople.

  • I do not, but I know many talented memorialists. Check out my referrals page for links to their websites.
